You’ve tried all forms of conventional medicine and therapies but your health concern still persists.
Any release from your pain has only been temporary; it always comes back with vengeance.
You know the cause lies much deeper than the symptoms. And you’re ready to try something new.
I’m Sejal Joshi BSc (Hons) MSc MATCM – a fully qualified Naturopath and a Licensed Acupuncturist – and I founded Root Practice to help create health and harmony in your life by using an infusion of Eastern and Western practices to get to the root of your health issues.
I understand the pressures we face daily that can impact our physical, emotional and spiritual well being.
With a husband and three energetic children – combined with running a home and a business – I appreciate how our energy levels can wane and our self-care and health can slide.
Our body is a phenomenally powerful self-healing machine.
But physical, environmental and emotional factors can affect its natural rhythm and flow, manifesting as a wide range of symptoms.
Addressing the symptoms at their root lies at the core of what I do at Root Practice.

What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a treatment derived from ancient Chinese medicine that involves the insertion of very fine needles into the skin at very specific acupuncture points along meridian (energy) lines. Acupuncture has been practiced for over 3,000 years and has been shown to alleviate pain, assist with facial aesthetics and nausea caused by chemotherapy, among other therapeutic benefits. Needle free treatments are available for clients with needle phobia, children and elderly clients. Find out what Acupuncture services I offer – including cosmetic, children and cancer support – here.
What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a system of natural healing practices as an alternative to drugs and conventional medicine. The origins of Naturopathy date from around 400 BC and has been developed around Greek Philosopher Hippocrates’ belief that the whole person – mind, body and soul – needs to be treated in order to cure dis-ease. Naturopathy is underpinned by a fundamental principle that nature is a healer. Find out what Naturopathy services I offer here.
